I spent three years working in the Peabody-award winning StoryCorps production department. I listened to and edited hundreds of interviews; traveled to record stories in Chicago, Texas, Florida, New York and North Carolina; and produced multiple audio pieces for NPR’s Morning Edition and Weekend Edition programs.
Highlights from my time as an interview facilitator include a conversation between a mother and daughter about the mother’s suicide attempt; a story about a post office that has been operated by the same family for more than 100 years; and a feature on the Veterans Crisis Line, which helps service members through difficult times.
